My skin looked smoother, although little sebum appeared on the mask. Uneven thickness caused uneven drying; peeling hurt around the edges and left redness that cleared overnight.
I like the thorough peeling feel, but drying takes a long time and removal stings enough to make my eyes water. I use it only occasionally.
It does not pull out sebum like a nose strip, but helps tidy small flakes. It needs a thicker layer to peel well and can drip, so it is fiddly.
